Dr. Michael L. Brown is founder and president of AskDrBrown Ministries. He met the Lord in 1971 as a sixteen year-old, heroin-shooting, LSD-using Jewish rock drummer. Since then, he has preached throughout America and around the world, and he is the author of more than twenty-five books, some of which have been translated into more than a dozen languages. He is committed to helping raise up a holy band of consecrated believers who will spark a spiritual, moral, and cultural revolution in the land.
Dr. Brown served as a leader in the Brownsville Revival from 1996-2000, and out of this significant spiritual movement, he and his leadership team birthed the FIRE School of Ministry (now based in Concord, North Carolina), which Dr. Brown serves as president and faculty member. At present, graduates of the school are now bearing fruit for the Lord throughout the United States and in more than twenty-five nations.
As a Jewish believer in Jesus, Dr. Brown is active in Jewish evangelism, debating rabbis on radio, TV, and college campuses, as well as teaching the Church about Gods eternal purposes for Israel and the Jewish people. He is also a published Old Testament and Semitic scholar, holding a Ph.D. in Near Eastern Languages and Literatures from New York University. He has served as a visiting or adjunct professor at numerous top seminaries.
He is host of the nationally syndicated, daily talk radio show, the Line of Fire -- "your voice of moral, cultural, and spiritual revolution" -- as well as the host of shows on GOD TV, NRB TV, and INI TV. His syndicated columns appear on many leading websites, and his work has been featured in the Washington Post, the Baltimore Sun, the Charlotte Observer, the Charlotte Magazine, Citizen magazine, and other publications.
